The wedding celebrations will kick off with the Tilak ceremony on June 21, followed by the Mehendi ceremony on June 22 and the Haldi ceremony on June 23. The pre-wedding rituals will take place in Akash Deep’s ancestral village, Baddi, where preparations are in full swing and a festive mood prevails.

According to family members, Varanasi was chosen for the wedding because Akash Deep is a devotee of Lord Shiva and visits the Kashi Vishwanath Temple whenever he gets time away from cricket. Recently, he also met Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh and personally invited her to the wedding.
