Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated on Tuesday that nature originated and life evolved from water. It is the responsibility of the current generation to conserve and rejuvenate the water structures created by our ancestors. In view of the possibility of scanty rainfall due to the El Niño effect, the campaign to conserve and rejuvenate water sources across the state will continue uninterrupted.
The Chief Minister was addressing the closing ceremony of the third phase of the 'Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan' held in the Bhainswa Mata area of ​​Rajgarh district. He noted that during the campaign, which lasted approximately 100 days starting from March 19, over 3 lakh 62,000 water rejuvenation works were completed in the state at a cost of Rs 10,514 crore. Public participation and cooperation played a crucial role in these endeavors.

Rs 20 cr for development of Bhainswa Mata area

At the event, he performed the bhoomi-pujan (ground-breaking ceremony) and inaugurated 31 development projects worth Rs 252.65 crore and announced a grant of Rs 20 crore for the development and beautification of the Bhainswa Mata area.
CM Mohan Yadav stated that the state government is committed to ensuring irrigation water reaches every farm. Continuous efforts are being made to secure fair prices for farmers' produce, expand irrigation facilities, and strengthen the horticulture and agriculture sectors. 
He mentioned that planned development works are being carried out in Ujjain and surrounding areas to make Simhasth-2028 a grand and magnificent event, ensuring better facilities for millions of devotees.

CM offers prayers at Bhainswa Mata temple

CM offered prayers at the renowned Bhainswa Mata temple, wishing for the state's prosperity and well-being. He also performed Ganga Pujan and Gau Pujan, and planted a Belpatra sapling as part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. 
On this occasion, he viewed the development exhibition showcasing the 'Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan' and launched a booklet, a tourism film, a coffee-table book, and social media platforms dedicated to the campaign.
During the event, the Chief Minister distributed financial assistance and benefits worth over Rs 21.38 crore to beneficiaries under various public welfare schemes.
