Bhopal: The three-day vocal music festival ‘Gayan Parv’, organized by the music center of Bharat Bhavan, concluded on Sunday with a memorable celebration of Indian classical music. The closing ceremony featured magnificent performances by Dr. Rishi Mishra, a young vocalist of the Banaras Gharana, and the renowned classical singer Manjari Asnare. They captivated the audience with their soulful singing and masterful command over the ragas.

At the start of the evening, Dr. Rishi Mishra presented 'Megh Malhar', a raga associated with the monsoon. He began with the Vilambit Ektaal composition "Shyam Ghan Aayo." His soulful alaap, intricate taans, and beautiful rendition of the raga perfectly captured the mood of the rainy season. Her spirited rendition of "Saiyan Meera Re" infused the auditorium with fresh energy, while the monsoon-inspired Raga Ramdasi Malhar composition "Badra Umad-Ghumad Kar" brought the beauty of the season to life.

She concluded with the fast-paced composition "Kit Te Aaya Ve Ri." She received thunderous applause for her brilliant taans, rhythmic precision, and soulful artistry. 'Anhad' concluded with this magnificent finale, which was a memorable celebration of India's timeless classical music tradition.
