Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will launch a mega plantation drive in Indore to plant 21 lakh saplings and install 51 thousand rainwater harvesting units under PM Modi's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. lThe programme will be held on Sunday, 12 July 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the BSF campus in Budania village, located ahead of Pitra Parvat in Indore. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav, other public representatives, and eminent citizens will be present on the occasion.

Organised under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, the mega initiative is a significant step towards transforming environmental conservation, green development and water conservation into a people's movement. Along with large-scale plantation, 51,000 rainwater harvesting units will also be established to promote rainwater conservation.

Public representatives, members of social and voluntary organisations, students and a large number of citizens will participate in the campaign. Citizens have been urged to join the mega drive in large numbers and strengthen the collective commitment towards environmental protection and water conservation.
