School Dropout Rate Falls to Zero in Madhya Pradesh—Sandipani School Model Earns National Recognition; CM Mohan Yadav Distributes Books on Lives of Great Personalities to Schoolgirls in Indore
Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that education is the most powerful instrument for bringing about social transformation. He said the State Government is committed to providing world-class education to children.
CM said, “We want every child to learn, grow and excel in life. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, we are making continuous efforts to provide quality, employment-oriented and value-based education through modern teaching methods.”
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is creating a strong educational ecosystem through Sandipani Schools, PM SHRI Schools and Prime Minister Colleges of Excellence. He added that the state has achieved the historic milestone of reducing the dropout rate at the primary school level to zero, and that the Sandipani School model is being widely appreciated across the country.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing a programme organised by the Hind Rakshak Punyodaya Project in Indore on Saturday. He distributed free books based on the lives of India's great personalities and notebooks to schoolgirls. CM also interacted with the students, blessed them, and encouraged them to excel in their studies and succeed in life.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that government schools have delivered an outstanding performance in this year's board examinations, with results surpassing those of private schools. He informed that 58 students from Sandipani Schools secured positions in the State Merit List in this year's board examinations.
CM Dr. Nohan Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation is witnessing numerous initiatives that place national interest above politics, with the principle of Nation First at their core. He described the founder of the Hind Rakshak Organisation and former public leader, Late Laxman Singh Gaur (Lakhan Dada), as a source of inspiration for the youth. He said that Late Gaur raised his voice against misgovernance for the betterment of society and that he himself had the privilege of working alongside him.
ChM said paying tribute on the 68th birth anniversary of Late Laxman Singh Gaur, that the Punyodaya Project distributes notebooks, textbooks and inspirational books based on the lives of great national personalities to more than 60,000 students every year. He described the Hind Rakshak Project as highly commendable.
Convenor of the Punyodaya Project, Eklavya Gaur, said that the initiative was launched in 2004 by the founder of the Hind Rakshak Project, Late Laxman Singh Gaur. Under the project, more than 3,00,000 notebooks and books will be distributed to over 60,000 school students during the month-long campaign from 11 July to 11 August. He urged students to make the best use of these educational resources.
