Kanwar Yatra proceeds smoothly at Kubereshwar Dham in MP's Sehore: A confluence of faith and robust arrangements
Sehore: The holy Sawan Kanwar Yatra at Kubereshwar Dham is continuing with great enthusiasm, reverence, and devotion. Every day, a large number of devotees fetch holy water from the banks of the Seevan River and carry it to Kubereshwar Dham, where they offer prayers and perform Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva in accordance with prescribed rites. Prioritizing the convenience and safety of the devotees, the district administration has ensured comprehensive and robust arrangements.
Collector Balaguru K. and Superintendent of Police Sonakshi Saxena are personally monitoring the arrangements for the Yatra. Both officials inspected Kubereshwar Dham and issued necessary directives to the concerned officers. Administrative staff are on duty round-the-clock to oversee operations, while an adequate police force is deployed to manage security and traffic flow.
Facilities such as medical camps, drinking water, parking, temporary toilets, and uninterrupted electricity supply have been provided along the Yatra route. Notably, to eliminate the need for devotees to step into the Seevan River, a long pipeline has been laid with taps installed at various locations; this allows devotees to collect the holy water safely and continue their journey.
The administration has appealed to all devotees to cooperate by adhering to the designated routes and guidelines, ensuring that this grand festival of faith concludes in a peaceful, safe, and well-organized manner.
