Bittu Tabahi: Hard work of Rajgarh’s Bittu Tabahi caught CM Mohan Yadav’s attention; following a meeting, municipality has set to work on cleaning the river.
Bittu Tabahi, a resident of Biora in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district, is currently the talk of social media due to his unique cleanliness drive. Photos and videos documenting his efforts to clean the Ajnar River went viral rapidly.
Amidst this, some people questioned the authenticity of one of his photos, claiming it was AI-generated. In response, Bittu shared "before-and-after" photos of the river cleanup, revealing the reality of his hard work. He began receiving praise on social media and even met Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Friday.
Bittu provided concrete proof of his hard work by showing older photographs to those who had dismissed his images as AI-generated.
Some social media users claimed that the photos Bittu shared regarding the river cleanup were AI-generated. Bittu responded by sharing images showing the river's condition before the cleanup and the changes achieved afterward.
He explained how he had initiated the task of cleaning the filth-ridden river ghat. Subsequently, his videos and photos spread rapidly across social media. Before long, his work garnered national attention, and his videos were even shared internationally.
Bittu has been working for months to transform the Ajnar River; he persisted with the cleanup drive despite a lack of proper equipment.
Around 20-year-old Bittu took it upon himself to clean the Ajnar River. He started by cleaning a single ghat but gradually expanded his efforts to remove waste from other sections of the river. Notably, he was often seen entering the river to clean without gloves or footwear.
While people on social media praised his dedication, some also expressed concern about potential health issues, such as infections, resulting from working in the polluted water. Later, people provided him with shoes, gloves, a shovel, and other cleaning supplies.
