Fortunate to Have Darshan of Lord Shri Dwarkadhish Ahead of Janmashtami, Says CM Mohan Yadav after Offering Prayers
Madhya Prdesh CM Mohan Yadav, accompanied by his wife, visited the sacred Dwarkadhish Temple in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat, on Thursday. The Chief Minister and his wife had darshan of the divine form of Lord Shri Dwarkadhish and performed rituals and worship to seek his blessings.
CM prayed to Lord Dwarkadhish for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of all the people of Madhya Pradesh. He extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to people across the country and Madhya Pradesh on the auspicious festival marking the birth of Lord Shri Krishna ahead of Janmashtami, which will be celebrated on Friday. CM was accompanied by his wife, Smt. Seema Yadav, other family members and Dr. Ilaiya Raja T., Secretary to the CM.
CM said the number of devotees visiting Ujjain has increased 20-fold after the construction of Shri Mahakal Lok. Currently, more than 10 crore pilgrims visit Ujjain. Following the inauguration of Shri Mahakal Lok in Ujjain by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor was also developed in Varanasi, giving a major boost to religious tourism in the city of Baba Vishwanath.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Dwarkadhish Temple is one of the prominent pilgrimage sites among the four Dhams of Sanatan culture established by Adi Shankaracharya. He said it was a matter of great fortune for everyone to have the opportunity to witness the grand darshan of Lord Shri Dwarkadhish just ahead of Janmashtami.
The Chief Minister said that he had visited Somnath Dham some time ago and had now visited the renowned Shri Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka, where he performed the prescribed rituals and offered prayers. He also reviewed the temple arrangements. He said that similar efforts are being made to ensure the best possible management and facilities at religious sites across Madhya Pradesh.
