Green, Prosperous and Developed Bhopal are Core Themes of Master Plan, says CM Mohan Yadav
Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav said that the draft of the Bhopal Development Plan-2047 (Master Plan) has been published on the auspicious occasion of Shri Ganesh Anant Chaturdashi after a long gap.
CM Dr. Yadav said in a post on ‘X’ that the plan seeks to conserve Bhopal’s natural heritage, including Bhojtal, forest areas and tiger movement zones, while ensuring better civic amenities, seamless mobility and opportunities for economic growth. He said Green TDR provisions will compensate landowners whose land falls within designated green areas while enabling developers to undertake additional development through TDR.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav described the initiative as an important step towards a prosperous, accessible, safe and developed Bhopal, and invited citizens to submit objections and suggestions on the draft.
