Scooty is not merely vehicle, but recognition of students’ talent, hard work and self-confidence: CM Mohan Yadav
Madhya Pradesh CM Dr Mohan Yadav said the family, society, and government have a responsibility to recognise and honour students for their hard work and achievements. The state government is committed to providing resources, opportunities and recognition to help students realise their dreams. No talented student should be held back because of financial difficulties or lack of resources. The scooties provided to meritorious students are not merely a means of transportation, but recognition of their talent, hard work, self-confidence and aspirations for a bright future.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed a state-level programme at Government Subhash Excellence School during the distribution of scooties under the Mukhyamantri Scooty Scheme to meritorious Class 12 students of government higher secondary schools. Under the scheme, students who secure 70 per cent or more marks in Class 12 in their first attempt and stand first in their respective schools are eligible for the benefit. More than 7,400 meritorious students across the state received scooties.
Students Encouraged to Move Forward
Dr. Yadav said that the Mukhyamantri Scooty Scheme is a mark of recognition for students who, despite difficult circumstances, have brought pride to their families and society through their hard work and talent. The state government is providing free textbooks, uniforms and bicycles to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder their education. Today, children in the state are pursuing new possibilities not only in traditional occupations and agriculture but also in emerging fields. Several students aspire to establish agricultural start-ups and increase their family incomes. Modern technology and innovation can make agriculture a more profitable avenue.
