Ram Mandir Trust Gets First CEO; Jitendra Mishra, Veteran of 38 Years in Air Force, to Assume Responsibility
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is set to appoint its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO). According to sources, the appointment of retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra has been finalized. The Trust will make an official announcement regarding this via a press conference. Mishra’s appointment will be for a three-year term, commencing from the date of his appointment.
Jitendra Mishra retired from the Indian Air Force in April of this year, having served for approximately 38 years. During his career, he served as a fighter pilot, combat instructor, and test pilot, accumulating over 3,000 hours of flying experience.
A native of Deoria district in Uttar Pradesh and an alumnus of the NDA (Khadakwasla), Mishra has been awarded the Uttam Yudh Seva Medal. He played a pivotal role in the Kargil War and 'Operation Sindoor,' conducted last year.
The Trust received over 5,500 applications for the CEO position, with 18 candidates making it to the final shortlist. During the selection process, candidates were questioned on topics ranging from dietary habits and lifestyle to beliefs associated with the Hindu religion. An official announcement regarding Jitendra Mishra's appointment is now awaited.
