CM Mohan Yadav Interacts with Influencers at MP Travel Mart 2026: Stories of MP’s Heritage to Reach Audiences across India and World
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh’s rich heritage, spanning its history, culture, forests and wildlife, offers a wealth of stories to be shared with audiences across India and the world.
Addressing the national-level Influencers Meet at the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2026 at Sayaji Hotel, he highlighted the legacy of Rani Durgavati, the timeless friendship of Lord Krishna and Sudama, and the successful reintroduction of cheetahs in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Miohan Yadav said that social media influencers would be provided the necessary support to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s diverse heritage and unique experiences, helping bring its stories to a wider global audience.
More than 200 influencers from across the country participated in the meet and interacted directly with the Chief Minister. He said it was important to acquaint the younger generation with India’s glorious history, with influencers playing an important role in telling these stories in engaging ways.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, highlighting innovative tourism initiatives, an old school building have been successfully converted into the Samrat Vikramaditya Hotel. He also noted the growing popularity of homestays and said shikaras now offer boating experiences on Bhojtal in Bhopal, similar to those on Dal Lake in Srinagar.
Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T., Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, said the state is steadily developing a rich and favourable ecosystem for filmmaking. The aim is to position Madhya Pradesh not only as a filming destination but also as a hub for complete film production, including post-production. Its diverse locations, rich cultural heritage and natural beauty make it a distinctive destination for filmmakers.
Renowned chef and television personality Ranveer Brar, actor Amit Sial and content creator Maruf Kalman said that experiencing Madhya Pradesh first-hand and engaging with local communities is essential to understanding its authentic stories and identity.
Influencers Honoured in Nine Categories
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honoured influencers for their outstanding contributions across various activities. The meet aimed to promote Madhya Pradesh’s tourism destinations, local experiences and unique stories through social media at the national and international levels.
A quiz featuring questions on the state’s art, culture, tourism destinations and cuisine was also organised, with influencers participating enthusiastically. A special fashion show showcasing the state’s handloom and handicrafts was organised around the themes of Pranpur, Maheshwar, Kukshi, Dhar, Keriyakehdi and Bhairavgarh craft and handloom villages.
The initiative, undertaken as part of a project of the Union Ministry of Textiles, seeks to connect traditional crafts and local products with tourism, expand their market reach and introduce them to new consumer segments.
The interaction also focused on ways to use digital platforms to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s art, culture, cuisine, wildlife, heritage and local tourism experiences to a wider audience.
