Entire Drug Syndicate to be Dismantled to Make Madhya Pradesh Drug-Free: CM Mohan Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that a decisive battle has been launched against narcotic drugs in Madhya Pradesh in line with the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to build a drug-free India. The state government and police are continuously cracking down on networks involved in drugs, cybercrime, illegal arms and organised crime. He said the entire syndicate would be dismantled to make Madhya Pradesh drug-free.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that intensive efforts would be undertaken at every level to make Madhya Pradesh completely drug-free by 2029, in line with the call of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.
CM made these remarks during a high-level review meeting on law and order and internal security in Madhya Pradesh with senior officials of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday. He said local administration and police must discharge their responsibilities towards law and security while maintaining communal harmony and continuously encouraging society to contribute towards it. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that Madhya Pradesh would play a leading role in achieving the goal of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.
CM Mohan Yadav said Madhya Pradesh has the potential to emerge as a model state and the state government is fully committed to developing it in every respect with the continued guidance and coordination of the Union Home Ministry. The Chief Minister added that the Central Government is providing states with opportunities to adopt modern technologies and innovative solutions after successful trials, while also continuously monitoring their implementation.
