An agriculture-focused exhibition will be the main attraction of the Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day-2026 celebrations. The exhibition will showcase agricultural innovations, government welfare schemes and important achievements of the state.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the exhibition. Stalls set up by Agriculture Department and allied departments will highlight the state's rich agricultural heritage and the government's support for farmers in their journey towards development.

Around 200 agriculture-related stalls will present the current landscape of advanced farming through improved seeds, organic and natural farming methods, modern agricultural machinery, smart irrigation techniques, agri-startups and innovations.

At Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal, visitors will also witness live demonstrations of advanced agricultural machinery, micro-irrigation systems and integrated cropping systems.

Seminars to be Held on November 2 and 3

Farmer visits, training sessions and seminars will be organised on November 2 and 3. Master trainers from various departments and scientists will provide training to farmers.

The Animal Husbandry Department will display improved breeds of livestock. Horticulture Department stalls will showcase different varieties of fruits, flowers and vegetables, along with products carrying Geographical Indication (GI) tags.

The Kisan Bazaar and Women's Entrepreneurship Pavilion will offer local products, handicrafts and goods made by women entrepreneurs from different regions of the state for sale.

It is noteworthy that this event, being organised during the concluding phase of Kisan Varsh 2026, is centred on the theme "Prosperous Agriculture, Prosperous Farmers". During Kisan Varsh 2026, the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department organised various programmes and maintained direct engagement with farmers across all regions of the state.

As part of these efforts, a state-level quiz competition was organised in collaboration with Veer Bharat Nyas from January 29 to March 15, 2026. Around 40,000 farmers participated in the online competition. Based on the merit list, 165 winners from 55 districts were selected through a lottery.

Three winners from each district will receive awards. The first prize will comprise 55 tractors in all, the second prize 55 Bullet motorcycles and the third prize 55 e-scooters. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will honour the winners in Bhopal. In other districts, the awards will be distributed by the ministers in charge.

The initiative aims to make farmers aware of government schemes, share agricultural information and connect farmer welfare, self-respect and prosperity with public participation.

Cuisine from Different Regions

The 'Swaad Deshaj Vyanjan Mela' at the exhibition venue will offer a glimpse of the diverse flavours and traditional cuisine of different regions of Madhya Pradesh. Visitors will also be able to enjoy dishes prepared from Shri Anna, known for their indigenous and natural qualities.

The event will provide an opportunity to promote the state's cultural identity, agricultural prosperity, local products and entrepreneurship, while familiarising the public with the diversity and development of Madhya Pradesh.

The agricultural seminar will include discussions on following subjects: agricultural development in Madhya Pradesh; modern agricultural mechanisation and management of crop residue; horticulture development and food processing; the role of cooperatives and banks in agriculture; animal husbandry and milk production in Madhya Pradesh; and increasing farmers' income through fisheries.
