Illegal firecrackers worth over Rs 2 lakh seized in Indore

The Rajendra Nagar police station team seized 197 cartons of firecrackers valued at Rs 2.62 lakh stored without a license in a warehouse located in Anand Vihar Colony. Because the warehouse was situated in a densely populated residential area, officials noted a high risk of potential accidents.

Acting on a tip-off about illegally stockpiled crackers near Gate No. 2 being supplied via loading vehicles, police initiated action against the warehouse operator, Ravi, a resident of Veer Savarkar Nagar. The station in-charge stated that legal proceedings are currently ongoing.
