PM Modi meets Mrs. Akie Abe, wife of late former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Mrs. Akie Abe, wife of late former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in New Delhi on October 8 and expressed deep appreciation for her enduring association with India.
The Prime Minister recalled Shinzo Abe as a dear friend and visionary leader who played a defining role in elevating India-Japan relations to new heights.
PM Modi said that the inauguration of the Abe Memorial Corridor at the Rudraksh Convention Centre in Varanasi was a fitting tribute to Shinzo Abe’s lasting contribution to India-Japan friendship.
In a post on X, PM Modi said;
