Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla visited the Maharaja Martand Singh Ju Deo White Tiger Safari in Mukundpur. During his visit, he assessed the existing facilities and reviewed key plans for the safari's upcoming expansion.

Rajendra Shukla noted that the Mukundpur White Tiger Safari has gained significant renown both within the state and across the country. It holds a special place among wildlife enthusiasts, Forest Department officials, and tourists alike. Nestled within a natural forest, this tiger safari is truly unique—offering a delightful sight as animals roam freely in their environment.

Currently, the White Tiger Safari spans approximately 120 hectares, with plans to add another 119 hectares. This will bring the total area to approximately 240 hectares. The expansion plan includes a 25-hectare White Tiger Safari, with the remaining area dedicated to a zoo.

Vindhya Forest and South African Safari

Within the new expansion zone, a 'Vindhya Forest Safari' will be developed over 36 hectares, alongside a 30-hectare 'South African Safari.' In the remaining space, animals such as giraffes, zebras, and other herbivores will be allowed to roam freely. As tourists travel through the area in vehicles, they will be able to witness captivating scenes—such as animals crossing the paths—providing an experience akin to that of a national park.

Deputy CM confirmed that the entire expansion plan has been thoroughly reviewed. The government aims to secure approval for this project as soon as possible and expedite the commencement of work, ensuring that tourists can enjoy a new and magnificent experience here.

Deputy CM Shukla inspected various enclosures within the safari—including those for Bengal tigers, white tigers, and leopards—as well as the butterfly park and the reptile house, and issued the necessary directives.
