Next MP Cabinet Meeting at Gandhi Sagar in Mandsaur on This Day With Focus on Industry and Energy; CM Yadav Said Festival of Lights Will Bring New Energy and Prosperity into Everyone's Lives
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extended heartfelt Diwali greetings and best wishes to everyone while addressing the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet ahead of the meeting. He said that the festival of lights should bring new energy, prosperity and happiness into everyone's lives. With the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Shri Ganesh, may every home remain illuminated with happiness and joy. He wished that all five days of the festive season—Dhanteras, Roop Chaudas, Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj—bring auspiciousness and happiness to everyone.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav urged people to embrace Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mantra of 'Vocal for Local' while shopping during Diwali. He appealed to people to purchase indigenous products and support local small businesses and traditional clay artisans, thereby contributing to their prosperity.
CM said that Govardhan Puja symbolises India's ancient tradition of reverence for nature, mountains and the protection of cattle. On this occasion, every household becomes a gaushala and every village transforms into Vrindavan. This year, competitions focusing on animal husbandry will be organised among cattle-rearers in Vrindavan Villages on Govardhan Puja, with the top three winners receiving the Gopal Krishna Gram Awards.
Foundation Day Celebration Focused on Farmers Welfare
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this year's 71st Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day celebrations focused on farmers' welfare and agricultural development. Under the Bhagwan Shri Krishna Meritorious Student Scholarship, winners are being awarded ₹1 lakh each along with certificates of appreciation. Several other activities are also being organised, including 'From Heritage to Development', Kisan Bazaar, Women Entrepreneurship Pavilion, Agriculture Exhibition, folk singing and Anugoonj.
