    Shastikanta Das has become the 25th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. Former Secretary of Economic Affairs Shakhantant Das took charge of the Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday. Das is a former Indian Administrative Service officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. Shatakantant Das has said in a tweet that he took over the responsibility of the governor of the Reserve Bank of India. Thank you for all the good wishes of you all. "Finance Minister Arun Jaitley described Das as a person with the right credentials for the top post of the RBI.
