Chidambaram INX Media Live Update Case:-

Hearing in the INX Money Laundering Case for the bail plea of P. Chidambaram is scheduled for Monday in which the ministers lawyers are challenging fresh bail plea against CBI decision for his remand.
The bail plea would be challenged by the CBI lawyers as they are still collecting the facts against P. Chidambaram on the money laundering case.  

Earlier the apex Court has relaxed the Minister for his arrest till Monday in the case launched by ED (Enforement Directorate).  ED plea in the court suggest that the minister has given specific commands and is having accounts as well as properties in Argentina, Austria, Britain, France, Greece, Malaysia,Monaco, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Spain and Sri Lanka as per reports confirmed.

As per Chidambaram Lawyer there is no such property and accounts.  Lawyer Arshdeep Khurana all his assets are duly shown in all statutory filings and he is being instructed to rejoinder in the event the affidavit is filed.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
