Four Of Family Injured In Baramula Including 2.5 Yr Old Child

Four of the family got injured when terrorist attacked them and fired indiscriminately towards them.  The incident occurred in wee hours of Saturday morning North Kashmir in Baramula District.

According to the reports some unidentified terrorist barged into a house at Danderpora village late on Friday and fired indiscriminately at the inmates of the house causing injuries to the family including a small girl child of 2.5 yrs.  All the injured are immediately shifted to nearest hospital and are stated to be stable including the child Usma Jan

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
