Joint Statement of Pakistan and China is rejected by MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) when both Pakistan and China were giving statement about POK i.e. Pakistan Occupied Kashmir at that MEA said that since Kashmir is an integral part of India and POK has been illegally occupied by Pakistan so India will not allow any country to mention name of Kashmir in any of their statements. Since India withdrew Article 370 Pakistan has been trying hard to bring Kashmir matter on International front to which India has been objecting
In an statement MEA has said that," We are rejecting taking the reference of Jammu and Kashmir in the joint statement issued by Pakistan and Chine after the recent visit of Chinese Foreign Minister as Kashmir is the integral part of India and India also told both the countries to stop work on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor that passes through Pakistan occupied Kashmir".
India has always condemned action in the projects of China and Pakistan so called China Pakistan Economic Corridor which will pass through POK which is illegally occupied by Pakistan. Chinese in its statement said that it is closely monitoring the situation of Jammu and Kashmir and this situation is a dispute from the history and should be resolved properly and peacefully based on UN Charter. And China had always opposed unilateral actions that complicate the situation.
Earlier India had rejected China's opposition to its move of conferring Union Territory status on ladakh calling it an internal issue of the country. And MEA further states that India doesn't comment on any other country and doesn't expect other countries to do so.
