Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh turned 87 today. The statesman who served the country as Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014 is always remembered as stout economist who had tried to balance India's economy in world recession days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Manmohan Singh on his birthday. Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "Wish our former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on his birthday. I pray for his long and healthy life".
The same Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also wished him a happy birthday. He tweeted, Congratulations to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on his birthday and heartfelt greetings. I wish him good health and long life.
