Pakistan again had to look down in Kashmir side. As this time in UN when Pakistan raised Kashmir Issue. At that time UN Secretary General disappointed Pakistan and said that Kashmir issue is an internal matter of both the countries and hence it should be solved internally and no international country be brought in between Kashmir Issue. Pakistan is facing disappointment from all the sides on this issue. This time UN General Secretary stated that the issue of Jammu and Kashmir is an internal matter of both the countries and had to be resolved through talks. The US General Secretary has refused to mediate on this issue and in response it has been said that if India says then only it will be considered.
This issue was raised in front of Antonio Guterres on behalf of Maliha Lodhi Pakistan's representative in the United Nations. Now a statement has been made by UN Spokesperson Antonio Guterres and Stephin Dujarek that concluded that India-Pakistan should avoid any aggressive attitude and the two countries should resolve the issue by talking among themselves.
On Wednesday, Maliha Lodhi met the UN Secretary General and raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. After this meeting, when questions were raised on behalf of the media, the UN Secretary General said that the UN position on mediation is the same as before. He said that if such an appeal will be made by both the parties then it will be decided.
According to sources India has given a firm reply to Pakistan in the United Nations and had said that Article 370 is India's personal matters. This month the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan have to address the United Nations General Assembly. The timing of the address of Narendra Modi and Imran Khan is also same.
