Will Chef Lata Be Able To Break Guinness Record

Chef Lata who has been a simple Indian girl just a girl next door has been in news for past 3 years.  Hailing from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh she always has a interest for making and preparing food to which her family and especially husband supported.  It was he who has sent her to London for training in 2017 and she successfully cleared the training and even won International Indian Chef of the year 2018 award to her name.

This encouraged her and she gave her name to the Guinness book of world record for preparing food continuously for more than 72 hours.  The terms and conditions were so rigid that it took her 4 months to go through the rules and regulations to which she agreed.  Before the record was in the name of Riki Lumkin who did the task to prepare food for 68 hours and 30 minutes.  Till date the record is in Riki name now the challenge has been taken by Chef Lata and if she succeeds Rewa a small town name will come in the world map.  Whatever she will be cooking will be distributed among people.  Biggest task in this record is the ability to stay awake for continuous 72 hours.  The challenge will be from September 5 to September 7, 2019.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
