16 Killed In Pakistan When Some Bogies Of Train Engulfed In Fire


According to the reports coming in at least 16 persons were killed and 13 injured in a passenger train fire in Liaquatpur, Pakistan on Thursday morning. 

The condition of some of the injured is stated to be critical, who have been admitted to the nearest hospital.

Three coaches of the train have been gutted by the fierce fire in the Karachi-Rawalpindi Tejgam Express. This train reached Liaquatpur near Rahim Yar Khan railway station on Thursday morning. One of the bogies of the trains was badly engulfed in flames. 

The fire was so fierce that it soon reached other bogies. At the time of the fire, the passengers were asleep, so that they did not even get a chance to escape. So far, it is not clear what causes the fire. 

After the fire, firefighters and local police reached there and the injured were immediately taken to the hospital.
