A big news is coming from Modi Government. Government has announced 5% Dearness Allowance this Diwali. This is seen as a big decision of the Modi Government.
The decision was taken according to the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. This decision is going to benefit 43 Lakh central government employees and 63 Lakh Pensioners.
With this decision the dearness allowance for the pensioners was 12% is now 17%. The government is going to bear 1600 Crore of Additional burden to the government.
This decision of the raise of Dearness Allowance is the biggest hike of the employees by the government.
