The cousin of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has passed away due to the negligence of the administration as the ambulance which was called arrived 45 minutes late. The family members of Vijay Rupani's cousin called an ambulance via 108 but the ambulance arrived 45 minutes late, due to which Anil Sanghvi died.
According to the information received, Anil Sanghvi, is the cousin brother of Chief Minister Rupani complaint of breathlessness. After which his family called for 108 ambulance service but the ambulance arrived 45 minutes late and by the time Anil Sanghvi reached the hospital he had died.
After the accident, the Rupani government had ordered an inquiry an probe is underway for the late arrival of the ambulance.
According to the officials of 108, Rajkot collector has given clarifications that ambulance staff had tried to call the family but somehow the phone was not unanswered and because of that the ambulance reached the wrong address and delay happened.
