    Today is 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. On this occasion programs are being organized across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Rajghat and paid tribute.

    Earlier, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi, BJP Working President JP Nadda paid tribute to Bapu at Rajghat.

    PM Narendra Modi will also visit Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmadabad today. PM Modi will participate in an event organized for cleanliness there. 

    During this time, he will declare the country open defecation free. Several events have been organized in the city and other parts of Gujarat on Wednesday to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
