Gopal Kanda, who lives in Sirsa, Haryana, is once again come up in the news. Common people including Congress are also questioning Gopal Kanda's joining BJP. Gopal Kanda is the one who has been facing abetting charges of Air hostess Deepika Sharma's suicide. He is currently out on bail.
Gopal Kanda, who made his debut in Haryana politics nearly a decade ago has now shown his presence in the corridors of power. Gopal Kanda was born in 1965 to Muraldhar Kanda, a lawyer who was an close associate to INLD President Omprakash Chaitala. Gopal Kanda has studied till the 10th standard after he was expelled from school.
After that Gopal Kanda started working. Kanda's started his career with a music shop named Jupiter Music Home. After failing in this business Kanda started a shoe-selling business with his brother Govind Kanda, when the business started going fast, Kanda opened a shoe-making factory. Due to which Kanda got in touch with the leaders and started serving political leaders.
Kanda had his first contact with Bansi Lal's son. As soon as Bansi Lal's government fell Kanda started serving Omprakash Chaitala's sons. Slowly and steadily he entered the lanes of politics and tried making his luck in politics.
In the year 2007 Gopal Kanda started an airline company named MDLR in the name of his lawyer father Muralidhar Lakhram. But the work of the airline didn't worked well. Finally in 2009 assembly election he contested the elections as independent candidate and also won the election. Kanda was made the Home Minister of Haryana.
Kanda has about 40 companies of its own. Kanda started recruiting girls in his companies. Geetika of Delhi was one of these girls. Geetika's relationship with Kanda continued to grow, after this Geetika continued to progress. Within three years she was given director's chair.
But suddenly something happened that Geetika moved away from both Kanda and his company and moved to Dubai. But Kanda forced her to return to Delhi. Even after coming to Delhi, Kanda did not stopped chasing Geetika. And this reason made her suffocated. Geetika ended her life by hanging and left two-page suicide note which had send Kanda behind the bars of the prison.
