Decorating Home This Diwali


Deepawali festival is coming. Deepawali has great importance in Hinduism. Deepawali is considered a festival of lights. Goddess Lakshmi is worshiped on Deepawali. Therefore, for the arrival of Maa Lakshmi, house cleaning and home decoration are done on Deepawali. Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are worshiped on Diwali, which brings happiness, peace and prosperity in the house.

1. Toran - On Deepawali home decoration starts with toran on the door.  To decorate the door of the house put an Toran made of flowers and mango or Ashoka leaves. You can also use fake flowers with real flowers. Apart from this, you can put a toran made of fancy decorative items i.e. paper, fabric, beats, bell and shell.

2. Rangoli - Rangoli is considered to be the most auspicious on Deepawali. It is considered auspicious to make Rangoli at the main gate of the house. You can use many colors for Rangoli. You can also use colorful wood saws, flowers, sparkle, glitter or rangoli sticker in the market.

3. Lighting - Colorful lights are installed in all houses on Deepawali. You may find many types of colored flowers, lamps, lights etc. in the market. You can also decorate them indoors or outdoors. Nowadays, there are many different types of lights.

4. Lampshades Decoration - Deepawali is a festival of light spread all around. For this, you can install attractive lampshades in the house. If you want to do something different, then you can put colorful paper candles in the drawing room or balcony.

5. Floating Decoration - These days floating candles are very popular. People decorate floating candles in a big pot in the middle of their balcony or rangoli. If you want, you can decorate it on the center table in the drawing room. You can also apply your favorite flowers in the bowl.
