According to reports a truck collided with the Godwana Express near Rairu in Old cantonment Area in Gwalior. It was reported that the truck hit the train while backing. The train was on the route from Jhansi to Delhi.
Around 7-8 passengers were injured in the incidence as truck hit the train while backing and the injured passengers were sitting at the train bogie gate.
The truck driver escaped the accident site leaving the truck on the scene of the crime and police have seized the truck. Railway and police officers have reached the spot. The injured have been sent to hospital and their treatment is underway
