Today BJP has released the first list of 125 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. The party has re-ticketed 52 MLAs, including 12 women. The results will be announced on October 24. The special thing is that this time BJP has also nominated Lokmanya Tilak and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's family members. Votes will be cast on October 21 for the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly with 288 members.
The BJP has 122 seats in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly, while the Shiv Sena has 63 seats. At the same time, elections for Maharashtra Assembly will be held on October 21 and the results will be announced on October 24.
