More than 300 Indians were put on a Boeing 747-400 charter by Mexican immigration authorities for illegally entering Mexico in order to sneak into the United States landed in national capital Delhi's airport early this morning.
The 311 illegal migrants:- 310 men and one woman were boarded the Boeing by the Mexican Government and sent back to India as they were illegally entering USA. This episode is one of its kind and this move have given clear instructions by the US government that it will stop all cross border infiltration.
The plane which landed at the Delhi airport around 5 am. The immigrants were still inside the airport for several hours later. "Government agencies are coordinating with each other to complete their arrival formalities,".
In the first images of the flight and its passengers that had been released, some of them could be seen ready to walk out of the aircraft. In another, one person was wearing a T-shirt, shorts and slippers. Almost, nobody had any baggage to carry.
The US government had given a strong message to human traffickers said Mark Morgan in a tweet, the acting commissioner of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
