According to reports NASA in an statement has announced that till now their team has not been able to locate Vikram Lander which went lost on September 17 by its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) and it is supposed to be located about 370 miles (600 kilometers) from the Moon's south pole.

According to NASA spokesman “It was unable to locate the Vikram lander second time in a row this October as before also it had tried in September but since at that time it was dusk when the landing area was imaged and thus large shadows covered much of the terrain and it is possible that the Vikram lander is hiding in a shadow, ”the space agency added.
