1. Sargi - It is considered the beginning of the fast of Kaurava Chauth from Sargi. Every mother-in-law gives sargi to her daughter-in-law and blesses her fast. Sargi contains sweets, fruits, etc. sunrise. Which gives her energy throughout the day so that he can complete the fast easily.

2. Vidhi of Nirjala fast - Nirjala is kept fast for Karva Chauth, in this the person who is fasting is forbidden to eat and drink anything for the whole day. Water has to be sacrificed. The Vratis try to please Mata Gauri and Lord Shiva with their hard fast, so that they may get the blessings of unbroken suhaag and happy married life. However, pregnant, sick and lactating women can consume milk, tea, water etc.

3. Worship of Shiva and Gauri- Shri Ganesh, Lord Shiva and Goddess Gauri are worshiped in the morning on the fast of Karva Chauth, so that they may get unbroken good luck, fame and fame. In the puja, mantras of Mata Gauri and Lord Shiva are chanted. For worship in Karwa Chauth, idols of Shiva, Gauri and Ganesh are made from pure yellow clay.
