Manmohan, Jyotiraditya And Amarinder Singh In First Batch For Kartarpur Gurdwara Darbar Sahib


Former Prime Minister of the country and senior Congress leaders Manmohan Singh, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will go to Pakistan. 

According to the reports all the senior leaders will go to Kartarpur Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Pakistan in the first batch of the pilgrims to the holy place.  Chief Minister Amarinder Singh will be leading the batch of Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, along with Modi government minister Hardeep Puri, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal. 

On Tuesday, India has submitted a list of 575 people to Pakistan. Information has also been received that all the 117 MLAs and 13 MPs of Punjab will also be included in the first batch to go.

Pakistan has not yet responded to the proposal given by India, in which on November 12, the number of devotees traveling on 'Guruparva' was increased to 10 thousand instead of 3000 under the 1974 protocol. 

Pakistan has constructed the Kartarpur corridor from the Indian border in the Dera Baba Nanak sector in Gurdaspur district to the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan. According to the latest reports India and Pakistan have already signed an agreement for the pilgrimage to the historic Gurudwara.
