Pakistan Excluded From FATF Black List

According to the coming reports Pakistan will stay in the Grey list till February 2020.  The Financial Action Task Force has advised Pakistan to take complete measures for complete eradication of terrorism and money laundering to it.

The FATF meeting in Paris held on Tuesday reviewed the measures Pakistan is taking to curb terrorism and money laundering to stop financing the terrorist.

According to the rules of the FATF to balcklist a country is the support of the nations who are FATF members.  And even if three countries vote against it then the particular nation won't be blacklisted.  And this has happened in the case of Pakistan as in the case of Pakistan China, Turkey and Malaysia voted for Pakistan and appreciated Pakistan efforts in curbing terrorism.

FATF charter is comprising of 36 countries.  And out of them three countries as mentioned earlier have voted in favor of Pakistan.   Because of that FATF has decided not to include Pakistan in the blacklist and give it more time to implement the remaining measures.
