Is this the face of new India.  Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.  This image is coming from Uttar Pradesh where the Yogi government had lighted Ayodhya with five lakh fifty one thousand diyas.  And this girl is collecting oil from the half burnt diya for her home.  So that her family can use that oil in cooking.  

Is this right for the government to show devotion by lightning the state with so much extravaganza.  Government are supposed to be the parents for the citizens and now when government irresponsibility is seen like this what is expected by the people to do.  

There is so much poverty that people are left with no option but to live a life like this.  Isn't the government responsible for the uplift of the citizens

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
