Pakistan Violating Article 36 Of Vienna Convention Reports ICJ


According to the latest news coming in from Kulbhushan Jadhav Case, Pakistan Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal on Thursday had announced that there would be no second consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav for alleged espionage. 

International Court of Justice President Abdulqawi Yusuf told the United Nations General Assembly in its judgment in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case that Pakistan has violated its obligations under Article 36 of the Vienna Convention and appropriate remedies due in the case.  

According to the reports Indian government had asked the Pakistan government for a second  consular access  to which Pakistan had denied.  

It is reported that Pakistan had granted the former Indian Navy officer consular access as per the ICJ directions on September 2.  Pakistan's Foreign Affairs spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal on September 12 said Jadhav would not be given a second consular access
