There has been continuous rains in Madhya Pradesh and the rains have caused havoc, rains in the month of September are also continuing in October as well. Even there is a halt of rain in many areas but still weather can't be predicted right now.
Due to this, there have been crisis in burning of Ravana combustion. In view of the rain, this time Ravana are given rain coat. In many areas including Indore, Ujjain, effigies of Ravana have been covered with plastic.
Waterproof Ravana and rain coat is built on Chimanbagh and Dussehra grounds in Indore. Ravana combustion is scheduled to take place on many places on Vijayadashami in the Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. Dussehra festival committees are prepared for this, but the continuous rains have created problems. This led to the mannequin being covered with plastic.
The mannequin will be worn in a water-proof dress. There will also be an umbrella on Ravana's head. The organizers have to do all this because the rain does not stop. Ravana Dahan will take place on the night of October 8.
