BJP Suffered Setback In Jharkhand

The BJP has suffered a major setback in the ongoing assembly elections in Jharkhand.  This blow has been given by party spokesperson and veteran leader of Jharkhand Praveen Prabhakar.  He has resigned from the party.  

According to the latest reports coming in he has joined the National People's Party.  Now he will contest from Nala Assembly seat in Jharkhand on NPP ticket.  

He was also associated with BJP for the last several years.  He was upset with the ticket distribution.

 Chief Minister of Meghalaya and National President of NPP C.K.  Sangma and MP Agatha Sangma introduced Pravin Prabhakar to the party's national executive meeting in New Delhi.  

During this, Praveen Prabhakar said that he has no personal grievance with the BJP, but in Jharkhand, the party needs to introspect.

He said, 'I have got an opportunity to learn a lot under the guidance of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah in BJP.  The country is moving forward under his leadership, but the aspirations of the people of Jharkhand continue to blow.
