BSP MLA Rambai Suspended From Party For Supporting CAA

BSP MLA Rambai from Patharia Assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh was dealt expensively to support the Citizenship Amendment Act.  BSP supremo Mayawati has suspended Rambai from the party for supporting the CAA.

Mayawati has said in a tweet that Bahujan Samajwadi Party is a disciplined party.  And whoever breaks the rule will face immediate action.  

BSP MLA Rambai from Patharia in Madhya Pradesh has supported CAA against party guidelines.  Due to this she is suspended from the party and her programs of the party are also banned.  Rambai is always in the headlines for her statements.  Rambai has also been attacking the Kamal Nath government.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
