Right now the whole country is waiting for the execution of the Delhi Nirbhaya gangrape scandal accused who shamed the whole country.
Nirbhaya gang rape accused in 2012 has been behind bars for seven years and today the convicts petition were to be heard in Patiala House Court in Delhi. It was believed that the accused will be sentenced to death today. But the hearing has been postponed. And delay in the sentenced will delay the hanging of the culprits. The court will now review the matter on December 18 at 2 pm.
As reported earlier on the night of 16 December 2012, six people raped Nirbhaya in a moving bus in South Delhi. The mass rape was so heartbreaking that it had created resentment across the country, people had come on the streets. One of the six convicts was a minor, who was sent to a juvenile home and later released. A convict committed suicide in prison.
