Unique Rashtrapati Bhawan Of India

Everyone knows about the residence of the President of India located in the national capital, New Delhi, but today we are showing you another Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The story of this building is related to the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.  This Rashtrapati Bhavan is located in Pandonagar, situated on Manendragarh Road, 10 km from Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh.

The first President of the country Dr. Rajendra Prasad spent two days in this building.  It is said that Rajendra Prasad came here on 22 November 1952.  This building was built for his stay.  Which was later converted into a pucca house and named Rashtrapati Bhavan.  This building is maintained by the Gram Panchayat and the district administration.

In fact, during one of his visits in a helicopter with Raja Ramanuj Sharan Singh of Surajpur on November 11, 1952, President Rajendra Prasad saw Pando village and was so happy to see the village that he spent two days here.

The villagers gave a grand welcome to the President.  Seeing the villagers, Rajendra Prasad was so happy that he distributed cattle in every house of the village, along with former President Rajendra Prasad had also planted a well plant in the same building, which has become a huge tree today.

At that time, the President also performed Karma dance with the women of Pando tribe here.

Jayanti Bai, a resident of the village, says that when Rajendra Prasad came to our village, he also danced with us.  At that time I was about 25 years old.  The people of the village collectively celebrate the birthday of the first President of the country with pomp even today.
