Amit Shah and JP Nadda to lead padyatras and meetings for the upcoming Delhi Elections


The newly appointed BJP chief JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are in action mode now, seeing the proximity of the upcoming Delhi elections.

Last night, Shah along with BJP chief Nadda, national general secretary BL Santhosh along with three general secretaries from  Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, MPs including Manoj Tiwari, Vijay Goel, Pravesh Verma, Ramesh Bidhuri, Meenakshi Lekhi, Harshavardhan, Gautam Gambhir and Hansraj Hans, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Prakash Javadekar and Hardeep Singh Puri conducted a strategic meeting on the campaign strategy in the Delhi elections.

On January 23 and 24, 70 ministers most of them from the Centre will be doing one public address and one padyatra each for two days.


The constituency will be allotted to all the 70 minister-rank leaders and they will be addressing one group meeting and will lead one padyatra in the constituency allotted to them, same would be carried out for two days.

Further, from January 31 to February 2, BJP will be highlighting and promoting the schemes run by Central government.

The strategy is focused on reaching the local public and destabilizing the power of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and to let people know about the schemes of Centre.

The voting will be conducted in a single phase on February 8 and the counting of votes will be done on 11th of February.
