'Watching and closely following Kashmir issue': Donald Trump on meeting Imran Khan at WEF in Davos

Pakistan Prime Minister met US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum which is taking place at Davos in Switzerland.

Trum in his meeting with Pakistan's PM cleared that he is 'closely watching and following' the issue of Jammu and Kashmir and if we can help, we will certainly do that.He also mentioned that the relation of US with Pakistan have never been closer than they are right now.Donald Trump further added 'Imran Khan is a good friend of mine'.

Pakistan PM also responded by saying that Kashmir is 'a big issue' and no other country than US can play a key role in resolving it, because no other country can.

Trump is expected to visit India in the last week of February.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
