BJP Candidate Kapil Mishra Banned For 48 Hours

BJP's candidate Kapil Mishra from Model Town Assembly seat in the national capital Delhi has been banned for 48 hours by the Election Commission.  He can no longer do any work related to elections for the next 48 hours.  For this, the Election Commission has issued an order and the order will be applicable from 5 pm on Saturday.

 Actually, Kapil Mishra wrote a controversial tweet on 8 February.  Kapil had said in his tweet that India-Pakistan competition will be held in Delhi on the day of polling, as well as he said that many areas of Delhi including Shaheen Bagh a small Pakistan.  

After which the Election Commission had ordered him to delete the tweet and registered a case against Kapil Mishra at Model Town police station by the instructions of Election Commission.  The Election Commission also asked Kapil Mishra to remove his tweet and reply to the notice.  But Kapil Mishra did not delete his tweet and didn't replied to the notice.
