BJP Veteran Leader Elected Unopposed

Bharatiya Janata Party veteran JP Nadda has been elected as the new BJP President.  JP Nadda has been elected unopposed.  Nadda filed his nomination on Monday i.e.  The party's national election officer Radhamohan Singh declared Nadda as the new president of the party.  JP Nadda has become the 11th National President of the party.  JP Nadda's term will be 3 years.

The term of the Modi government's Home Minister Amit Shah ended last year, but in view of the Lok Sabha elections, his term was extended and JP Nadda was made the acting president of the party.  JP Nadda is close to PM Modi and Amit Shah.
