Pawan Petition Rejected By Supreme Court

Latest reports coming in from Supreme Court as it has rejected the plea of ​​Pawan, convicted of the Nirbhaya gang-rape murder case in Delhi.  

Today's hearing was in the bench petition of Justice R Bhanumati, Justice Ashok Bhushan and AS Bopanna of the Supreme Court where Pawan's petition has been dismissed.  Pawan had thrown a new claim to avoid hanging he had petitioned that he was a minor during the incident and can't be sentenced capital punishment.  

The authorities did not examine his bones to ascertain his age.  Also Pawan has said that the death warrant issued for February 1 should be stayed and the Tihar Jail administration should also be informed that he should'nt be hanged.

 During the hearing, Pawan's lawyer had said that Pawan's age in school certificate was less than 18 years at the time of the incident.  According to school documents, Pawan's date of birth is 8 October 1996.  The same court has said that you had obtained this document in 2017, but before that the court had convicted you.
